Cost: Monthly attendance – R100 for members, R120 if not pre-booked, R150 for guests. A required name badge will cost an additional R75. No show charge is R100.

If you missed it when the sheet was handed around during the talk, you can sign at the Hospitality Table on the way out. Cancellations: Must be made by 5pm on the Wednesday prior to the General Meeting; otherwise you will be required to pay in full.
This illustrated presentation traces the beginning of time to our modern understanding of the universe and highlights the remarkable contribution astronomers have made piecing together the ‘jigsaw puzzle of the universe’.
Graham Hall has taught school and university Physics both in South Africa and in the UK and for twenty years lectured in astronomy at the Johannesburg Planetarium.
He is a recipient of many educational awards, including a doctorate in education from the University of Witwatersrand, for his distinguished contribution to South African Education.
