This year the International Women’s Club raised money for various local charities including:

- Bethany Sanctuary ( 50/50)
- The Lighthouse Baby Shelter (Bookworms)
- Community Assisting Schools (CAS) ( 50/50)
- Animals in distress ( 50/50)
- The IWC sewing group sew for charity every week. They work on sewing projects to benefit local charities and communities. This year they contributed tracksuits, winter clothes and summer dresses to Bathabalung Children’s Home and Olievenhoutsbosch School, Olivedale.
Charity Support 2019
This year the International Women’s Club raised money for various local charities including: Friends of Diepsloot, Thokozani Pre-School under-privileged children and The Breast Cancer Charity.
In addition to monies raised :
- Bras were donated to Zabra for ladies and girls in townships
- Blankets were donated to Abraham Kriel Bambanan Children’s Home and Dogstown
- And cakes and biscuits were donated to Thokozani Pre-school, Diepsloot for the Christmas party.

Finished products go to non-profit charitable organisations, such as children’s homes, orphans and abandoned children in safe houses. Many things go to the poorest of the poor such as the vulnerable street children and the AIDS orphans of Johannesburg.
